When you think of Christmas plants, holly berries probably come to mind first. I always doodle holly berries on my cards, notebooks, and whatever else is in front of me while I’m on the phone during Christmastime. (My doodles are usually seasonal, except in the late spring when they turn to get a little morbid, for some reason.) Poinsettias are probably on the mind, too—especially for gift-giving (like those times you can’t think of anything to get your mother-in-law and you end up bringing her one of these cheerful red plants). Mistletoe, too, is a Christmas-y plant—even if it’s fake and hung in doorways to promote random groping and excuses to kiss the person at the office you’ve always had a crush on.
